Studio Artists Live was a programme that ran from 1 - 5 March 2021 as part of Discover Creative Careers. There were 10 live sessions across the week streamed live at 3pm and 5pm daily, each with a different studio artist. On this page you can find out more about the artists and watch the sessions back. All the videos are available with captions.

The sessions are designed for those aged 11 – 19 to attend, providing an insight into artists’ practice, approaches and careers. Watch the recordings to find out about artists’ practice and creative process, explore a new approach based on their practice and hear their answers to questions on their career and experience as an artist.

The programme will include contributions from studio artists including Damaris Athene, Lawrence Epps, Naomi Harwin, Beeny Harwood-Purkiss, Mae, Aaron Ossia, Sally Plowman, Emma Smith, Soheila Sokhanvari and Olu Taiwo. Practices and themes explored include performance, sculpture, installation, environment, body image, sound and more.
